Confessions of a Holiday Lover
So on Tuesday I decided it was high time I put my Christmas decor up (what little we have). "A bit early," you may say? Not for me. In years past I have been known to have my Christmas stuff up even before Halloween was over (okay, a little explanation. That was the year I was pregnant with Josh and due to have him any day so I took advantage of the pre-baby spare time I had left). I guess I still have the little kid inside me who gets so EXCITED for Christmas! The way I see it, Christmas decorations get the shaft. I mean, really, they are only out of their boxes for what, a month? Seriously, they must feel so slighted! So I have chosen to give them 2 full months of fresh air. I just love this time of year. So, from our family to yours, have a Happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas!!!

Lori- You crack me up! But I am with you. However, I LOVE Fall and so I will be waiting until after Thanksgiving to break out the Christmas stuff.
If my husband wouldn't completely go crazy....I would put my stuff up right now, too! However, he barely agreed 11 years ago, to have the tradition of shopping for our tree on my birthday at the end of Nov. So, I figure I better not mess with a good thing, so I just settle for the Christmas music already being played non-stop on fm100 and kozy 106.5!! Julia and I were driving down the leave-covered roads the other day blasting Frosty the Snomman! PRICELESS!!! Gotta teach 'em young! Happy Holidays!
Amen Sista! I LOVE decorating my house for Christmas...I literally can't wait! I agree with you, Christmas decorations get the shaft. They definitely need more time than a month! Who made the after Thanksgiving rule, anyway? Rules were made to be broken....way to go, girl!
