Happy Halloween--again, and again, and again
On Thursday, we went to a friend's house for her Monster Mash Bash which she holds every year. The kids had a ball. Josh went as Spiderman, Brynn as a 60's girl, Luke as a dragon, and Bailey as a Jack-O-Lantern (compliments of all her missing teeth). There was an apple bobbing contest, with which Bailey struggled, but she was finally able to get one. Josh was too terrified of the masked guys and didn't come out of the house much. Luke, well, he just hung around the table of food snitching as many strawberries and drinks from other people's cups as possible before being spotted by mom. Little moocher! On Friday night we went to our church for chili and hot chocolate before the Trunk-or-Treat. The kids made a haul in no time at all (I love Trunk-or-Treat; minimal walking, lots of candy--the benefits far outweigh the cost)! Then we hit the road and knocked the doors in the neighborhood. Luke trudged along right with us and was happy as long as he had a sucker in hand. We finished the night with the whole fam-damily snuggled in blankets watching the Wizard of Oz and eating candy. Does it get any better than that? The next morning for breakfast? CANDY!!!

The littles before the Trunk-or-Treat at the church on Friday. Eek!! Bailey looks more like a Jack-O-Lantern gone bad. Wow, that's creepy. Upon arriving home from buying Josh's Spiderman costume the week before Halloween, he immediately put it on and attempted to scale the sliding glass door. Despite his Herculean efforts, his feet remained pretty much glued to the floor. I explained to him that Spiderman's super powers were not included in the set, much to his disappointment. No scaling walls or ceilings going on around here. Poor guy. To have his bubble burst at such a young age.....what a shame, what a shame. He's coping.

HOW FUN and I love that you had so many fun things to go to! YEAH FOR APPLE BOBBING! I still am no good at it. The kids look adorable!
Seriously so cute! I love all the costumes! And Bailey's teeth...perfect for her costume! I love it when kids start losing their teeth, it's cute. Sounds like you guys had a great Halloween!
