Movin' on out and movin' on in

Wow, the past few weeks have been a whirlwind. Last week Jared and I flew to Vegas and went house hunting for 4 days. We found a house that we like and feel good about. Really, the way that everything happened was an answer to prayer. We were able to go to the Las Vegas temple while we were there and it felt so good to be somewhere familiar. It is comforting to know that the church is everywhere and they teach the same things there as they do here. The first day we got to Vegas we were driving around in the area in which we wanted to find a home and we saw an LDS church with a bunch of cars in the parking lot. I told Jared that I'd be willing to bet that there were women inside playing volleyball. Sure enough, I was right. They were so nice too. They helped us out with whatever we didn't know and one of them even took us back to her house and let us borrow her GPS unit so we could find all of our houses that we needed to look at. It is so good to know that there are good people wherever you go. We stopped by the school where the girls will be going and we were really impressed with it. Now that we've got a house and the girls have seen their rooms, they are getting more and more excited. I have to admit that I'm getting excited too. AND, it feels good to get things organized and de-junked. We will probably be moving out next Monday or Tuesday (Feb. 23 or 24) and moving in on the 26th if everything goes according to plan. Thank goodness the company pays to have us moved so we don't have to do all the packing--I'm grateful for that. So that's that. My mom and dad are going to be in St. George next week and are then going to come and visit us in our new house--yippee! Life is good. Change is good, and we've got plenty of it.

I'm so glad that things are going so well with the move. How fun that you're excited and have a house and all. That makes it so much better. I'm trying to talk Trav into taking me to California in a few weeks.....maybe if we go, we could stop in and say hi! Best of luck with everything. Did you sell your house in Idaho? Keep me posted. Email me when you have your new address and phone number! I guess this year, you will have to receive an Email b-day card....so it doesn't get lost in the mail! Take care! Love ya, Sarah

Good luck on your new adventure. I remember when we first moved to Boise...I too found peace at the temple. BUT I'm sure the Vegas temple is much bigger!

I don't know if I can handle going to Primary this week and not seeing Josh. Tell him "hello" for me. Hopefully your week has been productive and fun. Take good care of yourselves.
