The Big Day

Tomorrow is the big day. We go in at 6 am to be induced. I thought the baby was coming last Monday night. A couple of people (thanks Casey) had told me to eat pineapple and that seemed to have started something. From 10 pm-12 am I was having some pretty good contractions 5-8 minutes apart so I got out of bed and tried to read. Around 1 am I decided I needed to go for a walk around the neighborhood, so I did. When I got back, the contractions had slowed to every 10-15 minutes so I popped in the movie "Dan in Real Life" (I love that show) and watched most of it, but finally decided I needed some sleep to be able to function for my kids the next day. Darn, so close! I couldn't quite get myself to do the castor oil thing, but I tried nearly everything else. I guess he just wasn't ready, but at least it's less than a day away. Yippee! I'll be sure to post some pics when he arrives.
