So here goes nothing.....consider this the McKnight Summer Marathon.....so far. More to come later, but no guarantees on a time frame :)
Baby Nate with lots of feathery curls and a swollen face from his rapid entrance into life as we know it.

One of Nate's first hair-washings.

My dad is amazing with wood and for so long I have wanted something made by him (because it means way more than just buying furniture from a store). So after seeing what he and my brother made for my newest sis-in-law, I couldn't not ask. He told me to find a pic of what I wanted and get it to him. When he and my mom came up to help out with Baby Nate he showed up with this......

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! Thanks Dad!!!

I'll be sure to get more pics when I find time to actually paint it.

Josh lost his first tooth! He lost the one right next to it a few days later.

Since we no longer live near a plethora of swimming pools (and awesome friends to invite us to those pools), Luke has found that the next best thing is the bathtub. So he pulled out all the swimming gear and went to town.

Got goggles?

One of my most favorite things in the whole wide world is a sleeping baby........

Especially with a binky.......

Sleep away little man.......

Nate in his blessing suit. We had him blessed on June 6 and Jared did a great job. Nate did great during the blessing too, didn't make a peep. Though that wasn't the case once we got home.

We went to Utah in July so that we could be in town the same time as my sweet sista--Brooke. They were here from Texas for a couple of weeks to spend time with both sides of the fam. While they were here we took the kids to Lagoon. The two Lukes had fun on the rides together. It worked perfectly actually because we could get their attention at the same time and only had to call one name! If only my Luke listened like Brooke's Luke. At one point I was chasing my Luke while trying to nurse Nate. Yeah, you missed out!

Funny/my son scares me to death story. Luke was on the bumper cars and some kid hit his car, right? Wrong.....not okay with Luke. So Luke proceeded to grab the other kids knee and claw him. The kid also got "the glare" from Luke (meaning back off or else this dangly seat belt thingy that does absolutely no good is coming off and I'll be joining you in your car for a few blows). Someone please help me!

Look at these two SWEET babes! Nate and cousin Sam. They are about a month apart in age and will give us a run for our money in a few short years.
Eagle Island is the closest we'll ever get to a beach here in Idaho. It was actually really fun and the kids had a blast swimming in the water and digging in the sand. Instead of driving 17 hours, we drove 17 minutes. Works for me!

Miss you all! Your Dad did great on the chest.
Love the pics! Sure miss you guys! I absolutely love all of baby Nates hair... He needs to teach Stratton how to grow it! :)
You gotta let us know the next time you are in Utah... we might be taking some trips to Idaho too in the near future!
