Cabin Craze!

I'm FINALLY blogging about our trip to Southern Utah that we took in mid-August with our friends from Vegas. It was so fun! We stayed with the Crapos at their cabin up above Cedar City for a few nights. The Meads joined us halfway through the first night due to a late start. It was a crazy full house but so much fun! It was good to see all of them again and relive our memories, and make some new ones. I miss hanging out with them so much. We had plenty of good food, games, and laughter to last until we see them again. We went out one night to look at the stars. They were amazing! The sky was perfectly clear and there were millions upon millions of stars and the milky way was in perfect view. The vastness of the earth's atmosphere was inconceivable to me, and I thought how tiny and minuscule we are in comparison, and yet, our Father in Heaven knows us and loves us each individually. He knows our heartaches and our struggles, our joys and our desires. He knows everything about us. He knows us better than we know ourselves and loves us despite our weaknesses and shortcomings. It was a neat experience, one I've had before, and one I hope to have again and again. It's always good to have life put into perspective. Thanks Crapos for having our herd for the weekend, it was well worth the drive!

Josh and Elizabeth were in pre-school together in Vegas before we moved. They are so sweet to each other. We have a picture from when we lived in Vegas with them sitting on the couch reading a book together. Elizabeth had her arm around Josh. It was so cute. We joke that this will be their engagement picture.

Once again, Luke was the tyrant. This is a pic of Cole trying to defend his quad from Luke.

Jacie and Brynn with their giant marshmallows. They were HUGE!

Some pictures of Nate that Rachel took, since I neglected to pull my camera out even once.
