Our "Almost" Camping Trip

At the last minute on Thursday, we decided to go to the Valley of Fire to go camping and, due to our spontaneity (or lack of planning) we weren't able to get a campsite. Yep, the campgrounds were completely FULL. So we stopped off at the "Seven Sisters" scenic picnic area nearby and let the kids run wild while we fixed some chicken curry for dinner. We were only there for a little over an hour, but the kids had tons of fun climbing on the rocks and digging in the dirt. So much for being spontaneous!
