This past weekend some friends of ours from our new ward, Rachel and Joe, invited us to go to their cabin with them and well, the kids didn't want to go home (and to be completely honest, neither did we)! We had such a good time getting to know their family and enjoying the beauties and aromas of the great outdoors. It was so refreshing to get out of the heat and have to throw on warmer clothes. We didn't take as many pictures as we would have liked, but we actually remembered the camera this time--baby steps, right?
Josh couldn't get enough of the 4-wheelers.
Luke was way excited about the 4-wheeler, not so much about the helmet. He could hardly hold his head up with it on. If you look in the background, Luke's little buddy is trying to get his helmet off too! And Luke didn't let us down....he made a monster of a mess in his crib with all of my makeup, lotion, and body spray while he was supposed to be sleeping! Will it ever end? Anyway, thanks Rachel and Joe for a great weekend!

Oh boy.....to be able to go camping right now.....we were just talking about it today! We go in June and can't wait! Glad you had fun! Where were you? I didn't know Vegas or surrounding areas had trees....like that! Ha, Ha! Happy Be-lated Mother's Day to you!
Glad you all are making new friends in your new ward! That is always fun! And four wheelers and kids are the perfect mix!
