Mo-town with the McKnights
Brynn, Bailey, and Josh found the water bottle tonight at bed time and decided to have a bit of fun. They re-named themselves D.J. (Brynn), Elizabeth (Bailey), and Eric (Josh). Brynn, aka D.J. was pretending to be Eric's (Josh's) 5th grade buddy. Don't ask.....I don't know. They were cracking me up. I think Brynn spent 15 minutes doing different styles on Josh's hair until she was satisfied. I love Bailey's lips in the first pic. That is some serious attitude!

And then there's Luke. He looks so innocent, but I guarantee you he is NOT! In the past week he has smeared hair wax all over the bathroom counter and everything in the drawer, bitten a lip gloss to pieces spilling the blue gloss all over the floor, unwrapped no fewer than 15 pieces of gum and bitten each piece into several pieces and then spat them out, squeezed fresh tomato juice from the tomatoes on the counter (unfortunately for me he didn't squeeze the juice into a cup or container), threw his ramen noodles all over the blinds and floor, eaten toothpaste, eaten Desitin, eaten under eye cover-up (it's a surprise he is still alive), squeezed hand lotion all over the church carpet (it wasn't even my lotion), dumped out countless bags of fishies, pretzels, dried apples (not mine either), and fruit snacks, and many more lovely things that aren't coming to mind at the moment. We love him nonetheless. We are just hoping this stage of curiosity passes sooner than later.

okay, couldn't pass up commenting here either! Welcome to boys! I know you already had one, but we were the same way. We had Garrett and he never really "investigated" things. Then Ty came along......black magic marker circles drawn all over the study wall (2 weeks after moving in), a tube of toothpaste squeezed all over the laptop while taking a pair of scissors to the shift key....popping it off and cutting it in half! Just to mention a few things! Can you say "Little Brother Syndrome?" Best of luck my friend! Happy Mothering!
Oh Lori! That is so funny! Don't ya just love the imaginations of kids? If it makes you feel any better, Jack is just like Luke. Landon was never into anything and just seemed so easy. Jack is sooooo the opposite! Just like Sarah said, "Little Brother Syndrome"! It's a good thing they're cute, huh? And he IS cute!
BTW, I can't wait to take a road trip up north so we can stop and see you guys. We are thinking of planning a trip to St. George sometime in the next few months so if we do I will let you know so we can get together!
YOur kids are so cute! by the way i've had a little one like luke to (Jace) take pictures and laugh. we still talk about all the crazy stuff jace did when he was 2 and 3yrs.
That Lukey's face looks anything but innocent! I'm so sorry he's hit the terrible, totally two's.
I was just wondering yesterday if I could remember what the daily things my boys did that made me go absolutely crazy...my memories were foggy til reading this post!
Thanks for sharing.
Oh Lori! I am so sorry! Matt was exactly like this. His favorite was squeezing anything onto the carpet...lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, sunscreen and then my personal favorite - Hershey's chocolate syrup. Good luck and hang in there. It gets better - sort of - some days there is no end to the curiosity of little boys.
