Jared had President's Day off so we decided to play for a day with the fam. We went to Johnny Carino's for lunch (which is way cheap on Mondays because they have half 1/2 price family platters) and then we headed to the Y for some swimming. Of course, we were almost there when I realized once again that I had forgotten the camera. So no pics, but the kids had a blast and I (Free Willy) managed to squeeze into a maternity swim suit (maybe it's a good thing there was no camera). Not a pretty sight, but I've decided a few sags and bags are the tokens of remembrance that come with beautiful children. I love it when Jared gets a day off and is home and able to spend time with me and the kids. It makes for a more enjoyable day for everyone (and a little adult conversation).
Jared and I get to head to McCall, Idaho in a week and a half for a little R&R. Well, for me at least. Jared has a conference up there and so we are using it as a little getaway while Jared's mom watches the kids (thank you, you are a trooper)! I can't wait to sit and read a good book! The funny thing is, I'm always so anxious after a little time away to get back to the kids. It will be a good little break for everyone.
Hopefully I'll get some pics sometime soon to liven up my next post (whenever that may be)!

So glad you guys are enjoying your new home and that you and Jared get to have a nice relaxing trip with no kids... Have fun!!! I hope you had a great Birthday too! I sent you a Birthday text, but you may not have gotten it (didn't your old phone die or something? I cant' remember?)
